Ray has 35+ years of progressively responsible and collaborative leadership with executive experience in critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ray held positions from Corporate VP, Global Operations Manager and Director positions while improving Corporate financials, strategy and culture. Ray spent time with Imperial Oil Ltd, Halliburton and Weatherford. Ray is a motivational leader with experience in navigating risk, setting priorities and is associated with strong decision-making capability. Ray graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Technology with honors and has completed various post-secondary programs.
Ray was a Distinguished Lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and awarded Alumni Award of Distinction (Civil Engineering) from his alma mater. Ray has 14 patents in Canada/USA/Other countries and has written numerous SPE and technical peer reviewed papers. Ray is an SME with multilateral design and installations. Ray has also sat on various boards including Leduc Nisku Economic Development Association, Energy Safety Canada and recently with Wayfinders Wellness Society.
